Record and publish
The demo app is Fika, a coffee subscription shop. The process is the one its customers ask about most: changing how many bags arrive each month. Everything here is a real Wendmark running against Fika; nothing is mocked.
1. Record it, in the app itself
Section titled “1. Record it, in the app itself”What to watch:
- The recorder opens in the corner of Fika, because the portal sent the author there with Record a process. No secret was in the address.
- The person clicks through the process as they always would. Wendmark does none of it.
- Each click becomes a step, worded from what was touched. Nothing typed is ever read.
- They name it and press Save. It reaches the portal as a draft, which nobody else can see.
2. Say it better, then publish
Section titled “2. Say it better, then publish”- Rewording puts each step in the product’s own voice.
- Publishing freezes a version. Customers only ever see a published one, and someone halfway through is never disturbed by a later edit.
Next: what a customer sees. Or do this yourself: Record a process.
